My mom wrote me an email today and here is what it said. I just thought that the wisdom of her words greatly complimented what we are reading in this lovely book! :
"When you pray, lay out your concerns before God. Speak candidly, pour out your heart. THEN thank Him for the answers that He has set into motion long before you can discern results. When your requests come to mind again, continue to thank Him for the answers that are on the way. IF YOU KEEP STATING YOUR CONCERNS TO GOD, YOU LIVE IN A STATE OF TENSION. When you thank Him for how He is answering your prayers, your mind - set becomes more positive. THANKFUL PRAYERS KEEP YOUR FOCUS ON HIS PRESENCE AND HIS PROMISES."
This is an online Book Group (relishing in a Biblical Worldview) to discuss inspiring written words that illuminate the truths of this enchanting life as our benevolent Savior intended it to be! I often feel guilty during the day to spend time reading, and this should instead be a necessity to an ever enlightening path that we are each on. This will also serve as a source of accountability for monthly aspirations of being consistently inspired with beautiful books of truth and wisdom!
